A gender reversal idea

Basic plot ideas:
A group of hardcore military men and women from Earth have been asked to go to this new world (Vaya) to help protect some ambassadors while they try to work out a treaty with the nation?s ruler. They will be masters of the bow and arrow, blades or other low tech weaponry. So, these people who are use to modern day life with TV, internet, and cell phones will be dropped into a world of bows, arrows and books. (this can be a large group, small or one x one roleplay)

A group of the vaya living in Harrow that will be thrust into a plot that will start with a love triangle and a murder. That will lead to a dark sorcery and deities fighting for balance over the world. (small group or possible one x one)

Or

A human female travels from the human controlled lands into vayan territory to start up a trading post. (more of a one x one roleplay)

A little background on the culture of the world that this team will be going into. The team (or female) will be briefed in the first post and will be commanded to be respectful of the culture. (potential drama waiting to happen). There will be a swarm of bad monsters to shoot at as well so don?t give up on firing at random targets in the name of justice. Unless the 1x1 is activated then the swarm may not come into play.

The vaya are brown skinned normally on the darker side and their hair is any color in nature. They have pointed ears that stick straight up and elfish or impish faces. The women stand from five foot ten to six foot and weight from 165 to 187 depending on their muscle mass. The men are five foot to five foot six and weight about 125 to 135.

The women:
They hold all the ruling positions, own all the business, estates and properties.
Estates are handed down from mother to daughter or female relative. Never to a son or male.
Are stronger and larger in stature.
Names tend to be more masculine and have the shorter hair styles. A few women will grow their hair to the shoulder.
Clothing are pants with knee high boots, shirt/tunic and/or vests. Jackets (with or without sleeves) hang to the thigh or knee depending on the occasion (formal are longer styles). Many do have armor if they are in the military, the colors will reflect the Legion they serve.
Weapons are the pride and joy of most women.
Military consists of the women under the rule of the Legion.
The women are the ones who will ?chase? after the men.

The men:
They are able to hold spiritual leadership roles for the men. Most tend to be more spiritual and follow their deity Brooke. (god of water and peace)
Smaller more petite, genetically do not grow facial hair.
Names tend to be more feminine.
Wear T-shaped, straight-lined robes worn so that the hem falls to the top of the foot or the floor, with attached collars and long wide sleeves. It is wrapped around the body, always left side over the right and secured by a sash normally knotted over the hip or in the back. Most wear them in a layered style to give more color to their clothing. (some even wear chastity belts called a ?strangle?)
Hair length is their birth order. (First born always has hair from the hips down. Second born has waist long hair, third born will have hair to the shoulder blades. But never shorter than the shoulders)
Cannot carry or use currency.
Cannot carry or use weapons. (can use knives in the kitchen for chopping)
Tends to the household needs, cooking, cleaning, mending and caring for the children. If the sons gain employment it would be doing these things.
Mothers will find wives for the sons. Marriage for love is rare. The sons have dowries.
(no these boys are not gay, they are oppressed by the woman due to the long history of their culture which will come out in the roleplay)

The main character I will be playing is Legion Dean of Harrow, she is a vayan female. As well as her brother, Nikki, and endless of others.

Still with me? Good. Well, now that you see the culture is a total role reversal, which can be challenging in its own right. I will be introducing several character that will lead my plot along. I have several in mind, but I want the story to be character driven as well. I will plop something down if anything stalls. But I think you will be to busy for stalling.

I would like to have people who enjoy expanding on the world I create for them. Who enjoy developing a character throughout the roleplay and doesn't go out of the way to instantly to meet others in the first post. (Unless required) This is to help me expand on this basic idea for my short stories and table top game I am running.
