Great to see you joining our lovely forum! We're one of the largest and most active text-based roleplaying websites out there on the entire internet, so it's awesome to have you joining our ranks. If you're new(ish) to roleplaying itself, don't be afraid to head on over to the Role Play Academy which is an entire section of the website roped off for the teaching of roleplay.
It's a great place to poke around and see some user-generated articles, discussions, or just threads based on theory. Trust me, it's worth checking out - you can pick up tips or tricks for any level of writing.
Also! As you embark on your journey through the forums, remember that you have to get your first ten forum posts out of the way so that you can start using your inbox! That link there has a bit of an explanation as to why this is, and a helpful index of threads to get you started!
Lastly, and most boringly (is boringly a word?) I've gotta link you to the RPG Rules. There are only five of them, so don't fret - still a good idea for you to know what sort of standards we hold ourselves to as a community.
So! That's about it. Dive right in, don't be afraid. We're a friendly community in general (see! Lily Evans even came to say hello!) and we're all here to tell a story.
