Donated to Malden and Melrose by former Malden Mayor Elisha Converse, Pine Banks is an expansive natural parkland on the border of the two towns. Picnic pavilions line the trails and walkways in the park, although a permit is required to use these spaces or to build a fire. There are also several athletic fields in the park.
